Goals

Albert Einstein said, “If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things.” Goals are necessary to succeed in life. There should always be a primary goal set for each area of your life, one for love, one for health and one for wealth. The goals you set for yourself should always be an end goal, not a means goal. What is the difference between an end goal and a means goal? When you set a means goal you want something to happen first before you can work towards your end goal. For example, a client one day said to me “After I pay off my debt, I can take a vacation” yet she never paid off her debt, time passed, and she still hadn’t taken that vacation. This individual needed to have only one end goal that she would work towards, financial freedom. Taking her vacation would happen easily once she had obtained financial freedom. Setting the right goals in life will yield incredible results. When you have accomplished a BIG GOAL that you’ve been working towards, expect profound happiness as a side effect.
